The outbreak of Covid-19 disease has forced the closure of all schools around the UAE as per KHDA guidelines. Due to these precautionary measures, all the institutions have resorted to E-learning initiatives to keep the academic process uninterrupted. Accordingly, H.H Shaikh Rashid Al Makhtoum Pakistani School Dubai, has drawn its action plan to introduce the Distance Education in the form of “Google Classroom” for this you need to follow certain procedures as given below:
1. Create a Gmail account for each of your child.
2. Soon we shall be sending you the sample videos with guidelines to use the learning platform and the classroom codes for each subject.
3. From Sunday, 29th March 2020 onward, the teachers will be sending the learning materials containing class work, homework, assignments, quizzes; activities etc.
4. The students are required to submit their assignments, homework, quizzes etc. within the deadline failing which they will be marked as absent.
5. The students or the parents can communicate with the teachers during the school hours as mentioned above, if any further clarification is required.
6. The use of technology in distance learning no doubt brings challenges, but also requires that the children are given an adequate access to IT devices to provide a suitable learning environment. Together we all can make a difference.
